This site is on the west side of Grouse Island which sits in the middle of Quathiaski Cove on Quadra Island. Only accessible by boat, divers will see Ling cod guarding their favourite perch and along on wall overhang, a pair of Wolf eels can be found. Lots of invertebrate life with masses of sponges and brilliant red Strawberry Anemones. Pay close attention to the small invertebrate life like Opalescent Nudibranchs grazing on the surface of a sponge. Also watch for Puget Sound King Crabs and Pacific Octopus which are often found nestled between boulders.
