A wall of life reaches down from the top of the reef at 10 meters down to 30 meters off of April Point on Quadra Island. Another example of the strong currents creating an abundance of invertebrate life to explore. Covered in large colonies of sponge and Strawberry anemones, there are swaths of barnacles that reach out for food floating by. The colourful Puget Sound King crabs almost blend in amongst the immersive colour palette of reds, yellows and oranges spread along the wall. Another advance dive for those comfortable with current dives as the slack between current can be short so expect a ride along the bottom. At 30 meters below the surface divers may find a small colony of Glass Sponge also know as Cloud Sponge.
